“I loved every second of my Superfair experience. Even well before the fair started, James and the team patiently answered all my millions of questions which made sure I arrived at the fair with a clear and calm mind. The fair itself was an amazing experience, the atmosphere was so welcoming and warm.

I met a lot of buyers, interested gallery owners and public art representatives as well as brilliant fellow artists, and the very juicy cherry on top was that I sold 13 pieces over the 4 days! On top of that I also sold 2 more pieces after the fair had finished thanks to being on The Superfair website.

It felt like I was part of a great family and I can’t wait for the next one!”

“My connections to collectors from the The Superfair DC fair still echo to this day.

With my one-of-a kind creations going to collectors’ homes, sales that lead to numerous commissioned works, generating continuous interest is something I couldn’t have asked as a better art fair experience.”

Ready to replace your job income with art income?

We created a better way for you to connect directly with collectors, sell your art, and build a client list with a minimal time commitment.

Hi! We’re Alex Mitow and James Miille, co-founders of The Superfair. When we started The Superfair back in 2015, James’ art career was just beginning. Those first steps with fraught with peril: “bad actor” gallerists promising big dollars without delivering, waste-of-time submission-based projects that bordered on outright scams, and group shows that were more about friends drinking free booze than actual art sales.

CEO Alex Mitow
Superfine Co-Founder James Miille

There had to be a better way.

As artists and collectors, we believe regular people excited about art should connect directly with artists and support their work, and that artists can meet and retain their collectors, make more sales, and replace job income with art income. The Superfair is an art fair for artists who don’t need permission to succeed. You can build a market for yourself, saving time, energy, and stress. As we’ve expanded to cities across the country, we’ve proven that the artist-to-buyer connection is at the center of a sustainable art market. In just 4 days, our artists are creating more collectors than they were in an entire year. 75% of our surveyed visitors agree that meeting and connecting with artists is their favorite part of attending each Superfair. With every call for artists we add serious, professional artists to our Superfair family.

We look forward to breaking art world rules with you, and welcoming you to our business artist community!

Better quality art

Curate, curate, curate.
That’s the mantra for each of our fairs. Our team hand-picks artists with individual style, a high level of professionalism, and top-quality work. Expect a fair you’ll be proud to exhibit in, with artists who turn into friends and collaborators.

High production value

We’re big believers that proper presentation makes a difference. Our art fairs use a higher level of production than most art fairs for individual artists. From quality hardwood walls to museum quality lighting, you’ll feel like the star of the show (PS - you are!) ⭐️

A “personable setting for meeting collectors”

That’s a direct quote from one of our Superfair artist success stories. Buyers buy more art when they feel comfortable interacting with the artists. The Superfair creates a relaxed atmosphere that encourages art sales.

Over 2,500 artists have joined our community since 2015.
